I totally didn't see this one coming *sarcasm*. It turns out Dell won't be enabling the compass on the Dell Venue Pro. It looks as if Dell doesn't want to have anything to do with the Venue Pro, despite the fact that they just completed the transition of making all 15,000 of its employees have the neglected Venue Pro. With the phone's many problems like WiFi problems and such, it looks as if Dell is throwing in the towel. So far, we haven't seen another Dell Windows Phone and I doubt they'll be making one anytime soon.
Dell doesn't really seem to know how to make compelling smartphones. They always seem to be far from perfect. Don't get me wrong, the phone was good with its 4.1inch AMOLED curved glass screen and a very unique, vertical QWERTY keyboard.
They should just leave the smartphones up to the others...
