USA Today Review

Another day, another app review. Today, we have the beautiful USA Today app.

Look and Feel
This 'ere application is real purty. Like my 'ol west talk? Speaking of looks, this is another app that looks to have had design as a major thought. USA Today's app is functional and a breath of fresh air in the copious sea of apps we call the App Store(or App Catalog in this case). On functionality, USA Today allows you to see the news, money, check the latest in sports, life, tech and travel. On the main page, there is a list of articles for the corresponding topics that listed in the previous sentence(and in the screen capture). On each row, you can slide the topic to the left or to the right to show more articles. Tap an article and reveal the magic sliding panel that contains the full article. This is all in one app. No having to be redirected to another website or anything of the sort.

At the top you can check out your local weather and sports team scores. Those results also show up in the magical sliding panel also. The weather forecasts are not live feeds but just regularly updated pictures or radars, satellites and temperatures.Scores section shows the scores of MLB, NFL, NBA, etc. teams. They also only show scores for today's date and yesterday's date. Kinda sad you can't see into the future with this app.

Performance
The app performs beautifully. No choppiness, no stutters, nada, zilch, nothing. USA Today's development looks to have put a good amount of time in optimizing it. There are no weird effects that shouldn't happen like out of place carousels or randomly popping up side panels. The app is, from what I can see, bug-free. I have no gripes about it.

Reviewdev's Rating:
I want to give it a 10 so badly but: 9/10...no app is perfect. Did I mention this app is free.
